After graduating from high school in Blissfield, Michigan, I attended Michigan State University where I earned a B.S. in Environmental Science. I spent three years in environmental education and came to this area to work at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center. In 2002 I earned my teaching certification and master's degree through Saint Mary's University. I had the pleasure of student teaching at Dover-Eyota and was able to obtain a position as a fourth grade teacher in 2003.
I met my husband in 2000 and we were married in 2004. We have two wonderful little boys, Grant (9 years old) and Ian (6 years old). We live in Lanesboro with our cat, Harley.
I enjoy being outdoors, traveling, reading, cooking, exercising, and watching Michigan State basketball, but most of all- spending time with friends and family.
